We all know that the mainstream media has become obsessed lately with the idea of “fake news” throwing this new beloved label against anything they disagree with that’s reported or shared by anyone daring to challenge their lame biased attacks against the president and his agenda.

It’s essentially become the left’s new “racist,” another label they like to slap on anyone who might dare to express a right-leaning, conservative idea. I mean, at the end of the day, who cares about truth and facts? There’s a narrative to push in order to please the Democratic overlords!

However, the left gets defensive when the shoe is on the other foot, as it is in the case of MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. Scarborough recently tweeted a quote from Sen. Orrin Hatch that many believed to be incredibly misleading.

People on the social media network immediately began calling him out for it, but the tweet remained up for several hours, and even when Scarborough did address the issue, it was only to more or less double down on it.

The Daily Wire has the details:

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough tweeted a misleading quote from Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) on Sunday that went viral after he left the tweet up for several hours. He later deleted it after many people started calling him out for it.

Scarborough tweeted: [email protected] talking about children’s health care: “I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people that won’t help themselves – won’t lift a finger – and expect the government to do everything.”

Scarborough’s tweet implied that the Republican Senator said sick children do not deserve government assistance because they are lazy bums.

But when Hatch uttered those words, he was referring to welfare spending in general; he was not speaking about the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

In his speech, Hatch specifically said “We’re going to do CHIP. There is no doubt in my mind.” Hatch was simply pointing out the U.S. is running out of money, which is true given the fact that the U.S. is currently $20.53 trillion in debt.

So, here is clear evidence that Scarborough was way off base in his assertions about Hatch and that he twisted his words by tweeting some of the speech out of context.

Yet the man still didn’t have the decency to own up to it and issue an apology.

For those on the left who might be wondering how in the world Donald Trump became president, just take a look at this garbage from Scarborough and you’ll have your answer.

People who are on the right and in the center politically speaking have grown sick and tired of junky reporting from the media. Only a complete fool could look at the crap coming out of the major news networks and not see that it’s all biased and designed to push a left-wing agenda.

Believe it or not, that doesn’t fly with a majority of Americans. If the media continues to behave in this way, they will only serve to ensure the demise of the Democratic Party. Perhaps it’s time to change strategies and for the media to do their actual job?

TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
